Street Style: Layered Shirts With A Beanie

Processed with VSCOcam with g3 presetLong time no see, everyone!  Today I have a trendy, yet casual outfit for you guys.  It’s been surprisingly warm here in NYC and I decided to take this opportunity to pull out some of my summer clothing.

Processed with VSCOcam with g3 presetThe shirt is just a simple grey cropped top that says “Rebel Club.”  I decided to wear high-waisted jeans because it is still December, even if it’s warmer out.  I didn’t want to expose too much skin and run the risk of getting sick.

To add some layers to this outfit, I threw on a denim button up.  I love how the shirt slightly peeps through.  The light blue denim is refreshing in a sea of dark and muted hues.

Lastly, I have on a olive green utility jacket to finish the outfit.

For the shoes, I have on my favorite combat boots.  I’ve been wearing these everywhere and I just can’t get enough of it!

My favorite part of the outfit is actually the beanie.  Not only does it keep me warm, I love how it looks when paired with a casual outfit.  I’m anemic so I get cold fairly easily.  Most of your body heat escapes from your head so keeping your head warm is essential!
