Thailand Trip

Processed with VSCO with hb1 presetHi everyone!  If you follow me on instagram or snapchat (@sincerelyaimeee), you probably knew I was away for 2 weeks in Thailand.  Here are some pictures of some activities I did while I was there!

Processed with VSCO with hb1 presetOn the way to Thailand, we had a layover at Abu Dhabi so we decided to go out and explore!  Our first stop was Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.  It was absolutely breathtaking!  Unfortunately it was a Friday so we weren’t able to go inside but this is a picture of how the outside looks!

Processed with VSCO with hb1 presetThe first excursion we went to was the infamous James Bond Island!  This island was given this name because this is where they filmed the movie “The Man with the Golden Gun,” starring James Bond, hence the name.

Processed with VSCO with hb1 presetGot to feed and play with this little fella.  Do you see the banana sticking out of its mouth? haha!

Processed with VSCO with hb1 presetAfter a long day, this is all I need.

Processed with VSCO with hb1 presetI’ve always wanted a pet tiger, but since I can’t have one, I’ll settle for being able to pet one.

Processed with VSCO with hb1 presetPhi Phi island was definitely my favorite out of this whole trip!  The water is crystal clear, get to chill on a speed boat, and offers lots of water activities such as snorkeling and jet skiing!

Processed with VSCO with hb1 presetOff to do some shopping in Bangkok!  Brought with so much stuff, I had to buy an extra suitcase!  Now I know I should travel with a half empty suitcase.

Thailand was my first international trip and I didn’t really know what to expect.  It was a little scary to know that I was going to be away in a foreign country for so long.  Although I did become a little homesick at times, I didn’t want to leave when it was near the end of my trip.  I was able to meet so many interesting people and listen to all their travel stories and where they came from.  I got to try authentic Thai food from the food vendors and learn about their culture.  This trip opened my eyes to many new things and I can’t wait to check off another place on my bucket list!

If you want to see more photos from this trip, add me on instagram!  Follow me on my snapchat (@sincerelyaimeee) to see what I’m doing daily!

Until Next Time,

Aimee
